What we did
Role: mechanical engineering and product development partner to a single-founder company, 2024 to present.
Product: the DUO 1 meter, from Figma sketches and 2D layouts to a production device. Architecture, the machined aluminium housing, and every touchpoint behind it: buttons, battery, internal covers, assembly, test fixtures, down to the carry pouch.
Delivery: engineered end to end; board layout defined with the electronics team so everything fits and assembles; metal and plastics suppliers brought in by us; electronics and final assembly in Europe.
Working between: the founder, the electronics team, metal, plastics and assembly suppliers.
